Default tcu

Is TCU retune recommended for a mod SRT6 or is it a waste of money and not needed.

I got it done and am very happy with it! I got it as a bundle all at one time...tune, tcu, pulley. Shifts faster, crisper. w mode now autoshifts at redline...it gets busy at WOT SO UT's awesome not having to watch/time the tach

Hmm...not my experience at all. Is there something i should be looking out for symptom wise? I asked for a conservative set of tunes, and pulley is 65mm w/single CAI. Next week Wavetrac gets installed.

Steve, I know that you have datalogged this more than anyone probably, so I have a few questions I hope you wouldn't mind answering. Aren't afr spikes normal during the shifts? Aren't afr's a function of the ECU, not the TCU? Is it possible that the ECU would iron out the spikes a bit after a little adaptive learning? Finally; Has anyone actually popped an engine, or fried a convertor because of this TCU mod(I haven't heard anything about that here)? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just trying to understand it all since I just plugged in my newly tuned TCU from Eurocharged today. After initial trial run(took it a bit easy), I'm loving it! I'll need to do some datalogging before bringing it to the track I guess. I'm also guessing this was only a problem when pushed near to, or at RPM limiter through the gears, yes?

For me it's perfect. Streetracing. I have rebuild my gearbox
with other discs and more discs. Now it can handle over 1500 nm.
And the TCU have no limit at all. No restriktions at all. Full load.
Its like a car with manual transmission and you dont use the clutch.
A little tricky to run normally, but i can live with that.
