CEL after unplugging Amp
CEL after unplugging Amp
So i recently had a check engine light that came on. One PO410 and PO730. Its weird became it didnt come on until after i pulled one plug from my amp under the passenger seat. The codes went away after i disconnected the battery for about 5mins. Anyone know what could of caused this issue?

This is one wild guess, it sounds like you may be backfeeding a ground through the amp ground somewhere else that is either corroded or cut. If you remove that ground (by pulling the amp plug), then the sensor giving you the code doesn't have a ground, hence the code. If this is your problem, you'll have to manually trace all the ground points associated with the smog pump (and the other code) systems and see where they converge with the amp ground/connectors. One other wild guess, you have some chaffing of wires going on and that will be a big headach to sort out. Good luck!
