Threw Serpentine Belt Tonite SRT6
Re: Threw Serpentine Belt Tonite SRT6
Non OEM parts have got to be a good reason to refuse warranty claims and any reason that can be found will be looked for.
I never changed anything before my warranty ran out on my first Crossfire.

Did you at least do a visual inspection to see if there was anything obvious under the hood that caused the failure? That "rattling" sound you'd been hearing for the past few weeks is is an advance warning that you have a bearing going bad. Think of it as being like the warning a rattlesnake gives before it strikes. You're supposed to be a bit pro-active, determine the problem and fix it . . . not just continue driving the car until you have a catastrophic failure and have to get it towed somewhere.
How many miles on your SRT6? In spite of the fact you think it's related to the air conditioning pulley, if you still have that OEM idler pulley on your car, I would suspect a failure there (about a $25 part) and / or your supercharger pulley bearing going bad (about a $50 repair).
Please let us know what you find out . . . Good luck . . .
