Default Windscreen misting

Hi all,
I'm extremely pleased with my new 2003 crossfire coupe auto.. One immediate concern is the fact that the windscreen has misted up more than once, very rapidly and worryingly reducing visibility. Weather conditions were typically English and moderate. I have had numerous cars with air conditioning and never experienced this before. It took ages to clear and obviously I would like to remedy the situation at source. Is this a common issue and can it be resolved. Could it be condenser drain hose or cabin filter or something else. I have read many posts stating this is normal but I Definitely would consider it a cause for concern at the very least. Never experienced anything similar in 30 yrs of driving. Ps I've checked the cars interior and all is dry with no sign of damp or musty smells. Any ideas?
Many thanks
