I thought its 8 and a 1 half qts? That's what I've been putting in mine last 3 changes I've done.

Only 8 quarts fills mine to full every time.
And I drain out every drop of oil believe me. I even jack up the drivers side to get out every last drop. 2004 Crossfire - 017746
