Default this is wierd - 12-22-2009 , 05:55 AM

Im doing a dual a pillar mod and its going good. Currently my rcm is visiting Tiged1 in AZ for a fix. So I hook the battery up, take out my test probe and turn key on to acc/hot and begin to look for hot fuses. As Im touching them, I get some lights and then my spoiler goes up? Hummm, then my radiator fan kicks on! Enough of this so I shut it all down. Is this because theres nor RCM to control functions and I hot wired these actions? Could anything be damaged? Or can someone explain what happened?

Guess Id better wait for the RCM to come home

Are you using a Test Light or an Ohm Meter ? I would suggest you use an Ohm Meter if not. Using a test light supplies a ground to the circuit.

Sounds like you are energizing the various circuits as you make contact through them.
Stop playing!
Received your RCM Monday evening. It will go back out today, tomorrow morning at the latest.
