Default A word of thanks for the how-tos

HI,
Recently had the "pleasure" of taking advantage of the ignition replacement and crankshaft position sensor replacement how tos and info that others have posted to the forums. A great big thanks to those that provided the insights.

Thanks to the contributors I've been able to cut out the repair man for these two problems saving a good number of bucks.

Yup, I've plowed a bunch of those bucks back into this site via the donate button.

Thanks again,
Leroy

I have to agree 100%. The how to's are a great reference tool. Cudo's to all that have documented their work.

I agree thanks to this forum again. Replaced my '04 batterytonight and got the BAS,ESP lights after replacement. Turned it off and hit the search and there it was, repeat after me: TURN WHEEEL FULL LEFT, THEN FULL RIGHT AND THEN CENTER - LIGHTS GO OUT. Now that I've done it once I won't forget again. I don't know if the guy at Sam's would have known to do that, maybe have been there all night trying to fix it without access to my computer and this forum. May it never die! DIY and be happy.

I only wish that I had known that the key was sticking before I had to have a tow to the dealer (wife's dd) and have it drilled out and new keys ordered. Maybe we should start a new thread of forum users who use this info to fix their own. Then the big contributors can get a warm and fuzzy for helping so much. Thanks again.
