need help installing new a/c drier and expansion valve
can anyone tell me how to remove and replace the a/c drier and expansion valve?
Ive had some a/c problems and am trying to get them fixed before i sell off the car.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Ive already got the replacement parts, just not sure how to correctly do the swap.. Both parts are very hard to access

PS if the expansion valve is stuck closed, you will have too high pressure on the high side, and very low pressure on the low side, like a restriction.

thats exactly why i think there is a clog somewhere.. The system was working and just went out on me out of nowhere while i was driving.
So my plan is to just replace these two parts, flush the lines, and see where it stands after that. If its not fixed by then, i will have it in to be checked out by a pro

Your low side pressure is high because the unit is not pumping, Try to energize the compressor and dont open the system until you know that it is going to assist you. Dumping the freon and evacuating the system is not cheap or easy to do. Woody
I suspect a problem with the controls.

I know the system has to be vacuumed after it is opened up.. I do not have the pump to do so, so im bringing it to a pro to have flushed out, then vacuumed and recharged after i replace the parts
