Default Heated Seat Repair

Has anyone had any experience of using a repair kit to rectify heated seat failure. I did see some repair kits on the market a while back - are these available anywhere now?
I understand that the heating element is bonded to the inside of the leather seat covers and when I had this job under warranty a while back on previous car they changed the covers. But the repair kit has new elements to put in (I think) Any experience on this will a big help!

I have done it aswell. There are some repair kits from chrysler. But also from aftermarket. It takes about 3-4 hrs a seat the first time. I did it for my N/A 2 yrs ago. Must do for my SRT6 soonish.

Can you recommend a repair kit at all - did the repair do a good job and last?

any reason why the seat back heats up but not the base of the seat? elements burning out? electric relays? wiring?

Wiring, but sadly wiring inside of the seat, so you need to physically pull the seat apart and sew it back together to fix.

Check out https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...structions.pdf - this is a common enough issue that it was a TSB, and that's the Chrysler guide.
