2004 SLK 320 Blower Resistor Same as 2004 Crossfire?
2004 SLK 320 Blower Resistor Same as 2004 Crossfire?
Hi! I am helping my friend out who owns a 2004 xfire and the blower motor resistor seems to be a common problem. I am not familar with all of the compatible parts but I am in deseprate need of some help from the pros (you all!)
Will this part work for the xfire 2004?
Behr 2108206210 Blower Motor Resistor/Regulator
Thanks!
- Matt

Hey Matt.. Do you own a Crossfire also? Your friend just missed a big get together over in Eureka Springs Ark. And Sept. 5th we have Texas Motor Speedway.. laps for charity.
No help here on the resistor but wanted to say Hi.. others should be along eventually with advise.. you might even try plugging that part number into the search window to see what comes up if anything.

Thank you! I received your reply and ordered the blower motor resistor from AM Autosports tonight. We will see how it goes. Once it arrives I will install, including pics and videos and update the progress and product. Thank you again!
It is 100 degrees here right now and it is brutal driving with no A/C.

I installed the blower motor resistor today, from AM Autosports, on the 2004 crossfire. Total install time, less than an hour. That is, thanks to all you and the informative info you all have provided...especially ala_xfire.
Im 6'4'' so trying to balance myself upside down was a challenge. I have wider shoulders so trying to get both arms/hands up under the panel I was probably comical to any neighbor that may have been watching. Especially when the screws kept slipping out of my hands and I hand to navigate finding them blindly behind my head.
All in all, this forum made is super easy to complete this job for relatively a fraction of the cost. My friend will drive the car when she gets home this evening and let me know it was a success or not.
Thanks again guys!

I replaced the blower motor resistor from AM Autosports and now the AC's air flow is blowing lower than it has ever before.
The amount of air that is coming out of the AC is minimal even on the highest setting.
???
Bad part or another solution?
