Code P2098
Re: Code P2098
I got an O2 code for a rear sensor. (your code is a front sensor) I switched the left and right sensors and the code changed so I knew for sure it was a sensor and which one it was. Ebay was my source for a new one and after 15 minutes jacking the car and changing the sensor the code was gone. $1000.00 is about 10 times too much.

Re: Code P2098
you got air leak some where , I had the same code for over a year , found out I had air leak around the TB , there is a boot that fits around TB clean it up and make sure the TB fits tight , check for any cuts or broke vacuum hose , DO NOT PAY 1000 BUCKS at STEALER SHIP TO FIX , REPEAT DO NOT PAY 1000 BUCKS TO FIX, air leaks will set OX censor off ,
Re: Code P2098
Dealer said O2 sensor, $750 plus labor. We found a broken fitting on the valve cover where the vent hose connects, $250+ for a new cover, or my neighbor's black silicone material (no motion, so glue fixed it) but the code came back, so maybe it's the O2 sensor after all? Back to Allen Tire for a more detailed analysis (my $39 Costco code reader is pretty basic!). O2 sensors on line range from $39 to $289, depending on which one, and who makes it. Dealer's $750 is ludicrous.
