Post crossfire performance chip

Hey everyone I am new to the crossfire world. Just recently purchased a 2004 crossfire and was wondering if anyone knew of any performance chips that have been tested and used and work great. If you can shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

No such thing as a "performance chip". A rewrite of the ECU is the only viable way to tune a Mercedes engine for better performance. Most of us use the Eurocharged tune which has been extremely well tested and worth the price.

Inmotion is another chip tuner who claims a 20+HP increase with their tunes.

Get a ECU tune. Eurocharge usually has a sale for a tune that provides a 24 HP increase. Check out their website. Many on here have done the tune and swear by it. I've tuned mine and love the results. Also, in the past, you get the car re-tuned for free if you add any new performance mods. I just added the needswings DCAI and then retuned the vehicle. Love it. Lots of reviews on here. Do a search and you'll come up with multiple threads.

Looking into getting a crossfire for the first time and evaluating improvements I'd like to make. Can anyone confirm if the tune passes the smog test? Many thanks

Mine is tuned. No problems passing the OBD Test.
