Default Rear SRT pad replacement

I replaced the fronts with Rotex golds but could not figure out the rears with the pins. I then read a thread about the pins being spring loaded and if so, could some one explain to me how it works and how I can replace them? It just didn't hit me as simple when I had it all apart. It's funny how the exsiting pads look new but have a low but noticeable "grind" sound when braking and especially braking during backups.

Thanks in advance,

Do they scrape all the time when you brake or after the its been sitting for awhile? The rotors get a rusty film on them(which is normal) after sitting for sometime more so after washing your car or in damp rainy weather. Mine does the same for short distance then goes away. If the rotors and pads look good then that's most likely the cause which is normal but sometimes annoying. Did you download the service manual it will tell you how to change the pads. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=13875

Robby, they scrape all the time while braking. I'm not sure why because there is alot of pad left. I don't know why I didn't look in the manual. I'm sure I have downloaded it.

Do the rotors have any scores in them that might cause the noise. Check for loose clips or parts. I think they have brake pad wear indicators that might be it to other than that you might want to have a pro look at them.
