Broken Wheel Issue & Dealer only TSBs?
Broken Wheel Issue & Dealer only TSBs?
In Kansas City, I ran across a fellow in a 2006 Black Coupe. He followed me off a main road onto a side street to get a look at me. I stopped and we chatted. I gave him this website and he will probably take a look.
Anyways, he told me that he had a front wheel (not tire) disinagrate on him. It broke while he was doing 90. He claims there is a TSB (Dealer in house only) on the issue.
Apparently Chrysler is blaming Michlen and Michlen says it isn't thier tire that caused the broken wheel. He said he had a 6 inch chuck break off and he had never hit a curb, potholes, etc. In the lawyers hands now.
Anyone heard about this?
Also, can anyone get access and post the Dealer only TSBs? Not sure if those Dealer only TSBs are already available here on the forums...
