New Tires a few months ago, better late than never...
Well, the title says it all... I purchased new tires the first week or so of October and took them to Las Vegas and the track.
Front: Yokohama Advan 245/35R18 on 18x8.0 TSW Nogaro Silver 5x112 Bolt pattern 32mm offset.
Rear: Yokohama Advan 295/30R19 on 19x9.5 TSW Nogaro Silver 5x112 Bolt pattern 35mm offset.
I had thought about 305/30R19s for the rear, but I'm glad I stopped where I did as the 295s rubbed a bit on the forward inside of the wells at full suspension travel. The fronts also have a very slight rubbing when at full upward travel... Not enough to harm anything, it just rubs a screw head that's there.
All in all the fitment is great and the traction is superb.
Here are some pictures after a nice wash in Las Vegas without the 7mm rear spacers. (I had to hack the links to get the pictures to show... DB issue?)
Continued on the next post...

How did you get unpainted or unblack pipes in the center. My 2004 coupe is clean (similar but not as nice as "Andrew's") but my 2005 SRT6 is painted black on the inside. I have not tried to remove the paint but I do like the clean look better.
(I could not get a paste of the picture I wanted to show)

Punkin,
The inside of those tips are actually painted, but I'm thinking the black has faded or something. Maybe the lighting. I wish they were silver, but alas...
RickZ,
Thanks... no real updates on the Street Rod project as of yet. I'll be updating the site soon with a real front end and posting some updates. We (my neighbor and I) ended up moving last weekend, so we are totally unorganized right now. My living room looks more like a warehouse.
Hopefully we will have it off to paint soon. I'll try and get the site updated before that happens.
Cheers!

Excellent MMZ_Timelord. Thanks for the photos. Your car looks great! I'm interested in seeing those wheels with the spacers in place.
Whose tires are you using? And you have the drop spring kit on?
You said the traction is superb. Huge diff on the street, or really just the track?
And the ride on the street. Smoother? Rougher? Huge diff? Small diff?

Re: New Tires a few months ago, better late than never...
eganders,
The tires are Yokohama Advans (only brand with the sizes I needed within my price range).
No drop spring kit at all. Totally stock suspension. Only other upgrade as far as performance is the brake fluid and I have racing pads and rotors for the track (BIG difference in stopping power).
The traction is better in my opinion on both the street and the track. I'd have to take it to the skid pad for verification, but it felt better after driving to Las Vegas as it had time to wear off the release agent that bonds with the rubber. (This agent/rubber bonding is known to make new tires slicker initially)
The ride on the street seems about the same as the OEM sizes for smoothness.
I'll try and get new pictures posted this weekend.
Cheers!

MMZ, do you think you could edit your first post to include your wheel size/offset information, and spacers etc. I think that would give a nice "one-stop" shopping location for people who are in the throws of wheel/tire purchasing to know how this width of tire might work on wheels they are considering. To do that, they have to be able to compare the wheel widths and offsets with yours.
