Will 20x4.5 wheels fit a roadster?
Re: Will 20x4.5 wheels fit a roadster?
4.5" wide? I want to know who makes a tire to fit THAT dimension.
EDIT: Wait a sec... *post search*
I'll bet those 20" rimz will get you into the 12s!
Bet those NOPI judges will dig your 175/30R20 tires too.

I need to get a new slip scanned in on here, but all the dragstrips around here are closed for the winter. I went to get one out of the console to scan in but I figured out I must have threw them away one day at the car wash. But yea, I will get a video for you guys. BTW, the intake and exhaust isn't the only thing I got.. I'm sorry I didn't clarify every mod on my car. But seriously, when at the dragstrip, try launching around 1700-1900 rpms. You will be amazed.

Btw, raced a 350z leaving NOPI and the driver was really suprised when he got blown away and passed at 130 by a guy with the top down

Ok, this forum is ******* ridiculous. I have met very few people on here who arent just straight up jackasses. I'm seriously considering deleting my membership because of this place. I really wish i could get on here and not have a member constantly taunting me. This is getting ******* ridiculous. Btw, I will be at the Dragon meet. I look forward to meeting all of you nice people who I have met on here.

Alright, Let's cool the drama and take a look at the situation.
Your entire 15 posts on these forum consist of outrageous claims and silly questions. And in most cases silly questions you could get answered by using the search function and spending a few minutes reading what some of the more adventurous members have already written on the topic of "big wheels".
The only "rediculous" thing about this forum are questions about turning your tastefully designed competatively priced euro sports car into a Dragster Donk NOPI Show Car.
K?

Re: Will 20x4.5 wheels fit a roadster?
Advice: The stock wheels are over twice that wide. Installing sich a shallow wheel would not only look very silly, but could very well destroy handling characteristics and make finding tires that fit very hard/expensive. In all seriousness, I believe the size of the wheel has been misrepresented. I have never heard of such a skinny wheel especially in a 20" diameter.
Some things you should know:
The wheels/tires on a crossfire are staggered and the front/rear tires are different diameters. The tallest "sensible" (if you can call it that) wheel size for the front is 19" (rear 20"). The reason for this is installation of a practically proportionate tire onto a larger diameter wheel would contact suspension components in the front of the crossfire (not to mention screwing up everything from your speedometer to ABS).
Some people argue you can modify the components to make more room for the tire. I suggest NOT doing so because of the risks associated with high speed tire failure (tire diameter grows in the center due to centripedal force, contacts suspension componants, blowout occurs, driver dies in a firery highspeed crash). Not to mention the usual problems associated with VERY low profile tires.
Want a reccomendation for larger wheels? 20x10 rear, 19x9 Front. And don't go over 3% difference from the stock tire diameter with your new setup. You will find the ride rough, potholes even more dangerous, and tires even MORE expensive.
Not to mention most 20" wheels look like "ghetto bling bling" more than euro sport car.
Good luck.

Come on guys I bet he ment 20X9.5 I have never heard of a 20x4.5 and neither have any of you. Either that or he is talking 20s with a 4.5 inch bolt pattern. 20s with 4.5 will not work that is a jeep rim. There is a 40x5 though lol
