Default Think I've Decided, What do you think?

I was going to get a set of all season goodyear f1's for my car but Im going to buy a cheap beater for the winter. So that being the case Ive decided to get a set of performance tires. Has anyone heard anything about the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW? They are on tire rack for about $850 shipped.

BF's g-force look good but are noisey! Eagle F1's have better grip and ride.

Probably OK for the price. SRT SIX likes them. Do a search and read what people have written. It's Eagle F1 GS-D3s or A/S for me though.

I just bought a set of Eagle F 1-A/S from my local Goodyear dealer. Mounted, balanced and out the door for $788.00. I had the GS-D3s on my last car (GREAT TIRE) and the only difference I have been able to determine is that the F 1-A/S are quieter and ride softer. The car also goes down the road in a straight line without following every crack like my "crack ****" Conti's did. If there is a difference in grip between the two style F 1s you would likely need to be on the track to find it. That is unless it is really cold out then the GS-D3s seem to loose grip. I do not know if it is still going on but Goodyear had a great sale plus $100.00 rebate if you used a Goodyear card.

The A/S handle great on wet pavement and in the cold. My wife has them on her xfire and loves them. I was going to replace the Condi's on the SRt-6 with either the GS-D3's or A/S. After reading your comparison, I'm going with the A/S.

Nittos are nice. Bought the 555's - would have done the INVO but I purchased right before they were out

The KDWs stick like glue but as they wear they get unbelievably loud. I had them on another car and with roughly 25,000 miles on them I actually took the car to my mechanic because I thought I had a bad wheel bearing. I knew tires could get louder as they aged but this was incredible - I honestly thought something was wrong with the car.

They do stick though, no doubt about it.
