Had a flat in the OEM 255/35ZR19's Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 rear tire. The tire could not be fixed and they could not find a replacement tire anywhere in Canada. 8 week delivery (not good). After talking to Michelin management they had some Pilot Sport PS2 G1's in stock but that they could not be mixed with the original rear tire. So, after some discussion, they sold me 2 tires at 40% off and a 3 day turnaround. I guess I faired ok, but they look the same as the old tires. Has anyone had the same experience.

 

My front right MIchelin went flat during the start of a vacation. I was in the Albany NY area. The tire foam was useless and after calling about eight tire stores and three dealerships, no one had a space. Long story short: car towed 100 miles back to my house and a week later a tire was found. Pain in the ***. I vowed never to let that happen again. Several weeeks later I bought a 19 in rim on Ebay ( $50!) had it fitted with a low profile that would allow the tire to work in front and back. Now the spare sits in my trunk ready for action. Yes, it takes up room BUT peace of mind is worth it
