Default Winter Tire Storage

I found this handy setup on TireRack.com. IT was only $49 and after a nice wash , dry and wax - my winter wheels are ready to sit out the summer in style.

Very nice setup.

Make sure that they are not stored near any sources of ozone, such as electric motors (compressors, HVAC units etc. Ozone plays hell with rubber compounds.

Default Re: Winter Tire Storage

Yeah - it's all good, but a reminder doesn't help. I even found the handy little cart so I can wheel them around when I'm hosing out the garage. The bottom skirt actually comes up over the third tire, so nothing is going to get in there.
