Wurth Silver and clear
Wurth Silver and clear
I ended up a couple extra rims with some slight curb rash and the paint was discolored from brake dust. It seemed like it was actually baked into the finish. So some hand sanding, primer, and more sanding, I got them looking pretty good. I ordered a can of Wurth silver and Wurth Clear. This color and brand is suppose to be the closest color to original.
I know how to prep and paint properly, but was wondering if anyone has any tips on this job that has tried it? There are no tires on the rims so that makes it easier.
The silver can says to use several light coats, but doesn't specify within a certain time period. The only instuctions on the Clear say to shake for 3 minutes.
TIA, James
