Just in front of the muffle, is it OK to set the car onto the jack stands for the winter on this bar? thanks

That's a stiffener bar just for roadsters. Coupes don't have/need it.

So far as I know, no. You have a roof to keep the car straight.

BUT, I have never been under a coupe. I just gleaned this from the Magnaflow catback threads.

I might be full of it!

I would make sure that you have a Chrysler dealer on the island that will/can work on it first.

But heck, yeah!

Driving the saddle road would be trip worth a good story!

I used to drive my P1800 over the hills from the leeward side to Kunia everyday when I was stationed on Oahu in the early 70's. Wish I would have had my Crossfire then. What a great twisty road. Only had to watch out for wild boars crossing.

Ann, I use three hyd. jacks to store mine in the air all winter. Two at the front jack pads and one on that cross member in the rear and have had no issues.

That's the underbody stiffening brace, found only on the roadsters.

I really don't see any reason that it should cause any problems to put a few jackstands under it.......just remember to be careful. I wouldn't recommend using one jackstand on it, but a couple, or three should be fine. You really don't want to bend it, as it's part of the structure of the car.

That is also the piece that needs to be removed to replace the exhaust.

No offense, but this is one of those questions that should never need asking

That is sad indeed.
Cold or snow or rain they should never be "stored" away.
There is always one or two days each month through the whole winter where a clear day presents itself for a nice drive.
The longest mine sat in my garage without moving all last winter was 21 days.

Agreed. Two days ago it was nice and 60 here in Denver. Today we have 8" of snow. Just have to wait for the warmer days...

Move to Arizona!
We could have monthly meetings, in person!
