Exclamation '06 front wheel needed asap

I just bent my wheel in a freakin pothole. I am so pissed. New tire is gone and now the wheel needs to be repaired as well, because the passenger seat is shaking when I drive faster and it makes a strange repeating knocking noise. They asking $150 for the repair??? Is it a reasonable price?
I would feel better with a healthy wheel. Anybody has one available or know where to find one ?
Any opinions are appreciated, thanks

where are you located? see ebay, some curb rash, but not a bad price when you consider that it includes shipping

good luck

Thx for the tip. I found a set of 4 for $450 in good shape, but they are in KY. I live in Miami. Good deal. Shipping might just break the deal. I also saw some set of different 4 wheels new for $500, but they are all same size and XF needs 18 and 19.
Difficult choices.

And considering fixing my bended one costs $150. But is already in bad shape, so I rather buy new. I also saw some set of different 4 wheels new for $500, but they are all same size and XF needs 18 and 19.

There has been a few of these develop cracks for no apparent reason. I don't know I would trust one that has been bent then straightened.

My opinion is buy the complete set from Ken in KY (a fellow forum member) and have some spares on hand OR look for a nice complete set of SRT6 wheels and upgrade the look of your car. Either way you can sell off your other three wheels to offset the cost of a complete set. Good luck . . . Enjoy your Crossfire!

Agreed. I have a full extra set for both cars SRT and NA. Invaluable.

Yes you are right. I hope we can get them shipped for a reasonable price. I am glad I found Ken's set .... yeahhhh. The SRT wheels are beautiful too, but not easy to find and am sure much more expensive.
By the way. What was the last year they built the SRT ? Trying to find one.

not a friend of craigslist, not even if local.... bad experiences ... even there a lots of good people out there.
Shame they did not built more SRT. Anything I should know about if I find one? Or it has same little defects like the others?

To me, it's part of the appeal of an SRT6, you own a limited production car. Less than 4,000 manufacturered.

They are pretty much the same except for the supercharger, suspension, brakes, and minor styling (bumper, wing, wheels & seats). A bonus is the AMG engine which IMO is more reliable.

I am trying to find a lower mileage SRT coupe. My convertible LTD is blk,has 60k and is a 06. Trying not to go with over 70k, and hopefuly I can find a SSB, but really love the gray color, but it says those have been sold in Europe and are 2006, so they will be hard to find here in US. I found 2 lower mileage 25k but they are still pretty high in price, around 16k and unfortunately in CA and CO. Too far away. What would be the highest mileage you would still stick with?
