Re: Lowered ?????
That's the usual method but you can install aftermarket springs that are shorter or softer(not a good thing to do), possibly a thinner pad where the spring seats.

Re: Lowered ?????
You could go the cheapest route by starting with the adjustment bolts. If that doesn't get you close, then you've probobly got some tie rod problems. On a 100k car it'd be best to replace the drag link which is the entire tire rod assembly.
Febi bolts are the same as OEM M/B bolts @ 1/2 price... 4 kits per car:

Re: Lowered ?????
Would also depend on the size of the tire, tire make and the car model. I have both the N/A and SRT6. Both have larger dia tires on OEM rims 235/40/18 fronts and 275/35/19 rears.
On the 05 Limited: 1.25" front 1.50" rear General G-Max
On the SRT6: 1" front 1.50" rear Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position

I take it that your SRT-6 is not lowered? I'm trying to figure out if mine has been lowered or not as well, and I am running the same size tires in the back, not sure if my fronts are 235/35 or 235/40...will have to check and measure.

Re: Lowered ?????
Ya, neither one is lowered. I went the comfort route with the larger tires which have taller sidewalls. N/A has KYBs @ OEM height and SRT has Konis @ OEM height. Both on stock rims.
