Default Tire rub

First off, I am not trying to stir any contaversy but why would a little "tire rub" be acceptable? Surely there are enough options available with spacers, offsets, tire sizes and wheel choices to avoid this. I know that I would definitely not be comfortable with tire rub under any circumstance.

Depends on where the rub is. Keep in mind that as one side goes up say on a hard corner or rebound, due to the suspension geometry the rear tire(s) may move forward as much as an inch.

No rub is acceptable. If it fails due to heat or rupture, will you excuse any results by saying 'it was just a little rub'? Think about it.

What i was saying would be a rub on a full turn..lock to lock or a rub with a full load in the rear. Mine rubbed a very little but i had 6 bags of rock in the trunk. Other than that there is no constant rub. Yes a constant rub would be an issue.

And what I'm saying is any rub can become an issue. There are answers for any issue, like small spacers, one size smaller tire, different offsets, etc. accepting a little rub because you like the way it looks? How will it look if the tire blows at highway speeds? Take the time to get it right.

A little rub when turning into a parking spot.....not gonna blow on the highway.....a small rub on the inside wheel well with 300 lbs of rock in the trunk and 2 passengers ....being that its not going to be used like that everyday or probably never again and thats the only time it rubbed...I would say its probably going to be ok on the highway. Now if it rubs constantly over every bump then ya thats probably going to to be an issue.
