18" on all four corners?
18" on all four corners?
Is anyone running the same wheels/tires on front and rear? Will need new tires and possibly wheels for my xf roadster. I was thinking 235/40ZR18 on 18 x 8 wheels. Tire life will be better as four wheel rotations are possible. Also does not sacrifice much width in rear. Thoughts anyone?

If this forum has been in place for 13 years and there are already many topics, any chance new folk have joined in the 13 years and they may have new or different experiences. I always find it interesting when us new folk come along we are told to "Search". Yes, that is a good thought and many of us have used the Search function to find the topic ended years ago. Sometimes new ideas come to light when a topic is brought back up. Just Curious?

Natemo, do the search and post to it, it will bring it back to the form. It has tutorials and discussions. That is what a form is.
Re: 18" on all four corners?
Personally, I'd stick with stock sizes and not risk the headache or waste of money and ultimately going back to 18" on front.

Re: 18" on all four corners?
There are several reasons to do a search but the one you're overlooking is that the search will bring up existing threads about your subject that contain the information you seek. After reading the existing thread(s), if necessary, you can then add a post to an existing thread rather than starting a new thread. Doing it that way will help reduce "clutter" on the forum and ultimately will help all forum users to search for and more easily find the information they need.

Re: 18" on all four corners?
The "40" profile tire is too high. Size 275/35R/19 would work fine . . .
Re: 18" on all four corners?
Protects the rim from curbrash and provides a bit more rubber on the road for traction
Re: 18" on all four corners?
285/35/19 tires on the rear
No mods to the suspension at all
Here are some side views and a rear shot
