Latest info on the Front Clear Marker Light project.
Found a solution to the UV problem - LEXAN
See pics for details.
Need feedback on reflector - no reflector option
Interest in buying - Cost per pair will be in the $80 USD range + shipping
Rear version is under development
Thanks for the feedback.
For those who expressed an interest in the rear markers, take a look at the difference between front and back. I'm assuming all years are the same.
There seems to be enough interest, so I'm going to proceed with having 10 sets of 2 made. Trying to determine how many of each to do.

If I am correct, I could be quite wrong, the reflector has to be made so that the light is reflected in four (?) directions. If you look at the back of a regular reflector lens it is multifaceted to get the maximum reflection.
The cars rear reflectors have to be above a certain area so to the sides I would imagine. Straight grooves like you show would not count at all legally as they only deflect light up and down.
Each facet on the legal reflector is or was formed by a single pin, polished on the end and fitted into a matrix to form a moulding surface. The inside and outside faces are moulded with a highly polished surface. At least that is how it was done, technology may have changed that.
Any chance we can get pictures of the lenses with the amber lights lit up but without the flash or whatever is washing them out? I think it would help everyone get a more realistic feel for what they’re going to look like. Appreciate you doing this for the community and well done. It’s been a long time coming for these. I never liked the euro clear side markers the bubble irked me for some reason.
A little background about this project.
I'm not in this for commercial purposes. I am just trying to provide the Crossfire community with reasonably priced items. So far, I have produced an upgraded Roadster Trunk Bracket, Fog Light Grilles and now this Clear Marker Lens project. I have been working on the lenses for more than 6 months; have made 3 previous prototypes and now in what I hope to be the final prototype before production. . We had a slight miscalculation on the dimensions of the rear marker and had to do another prototype. It should be available within a week or so.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly favoring the "No Reflector" option.
Some have asked if they can be tinted.
I don't plan to offer a tinted option, however, the lens are produced in 2 parts,(lens & back). If you want to tint, I can provide them unassembled for you to customize to your liking.
The lenses are being developed as time permits and funds allow.
It appears that the final pricing will be around $100US (domestic shipping included) per set (Front or Rear) International shipping will be provided at additional actual cost.
As you can imagine, I have invested a considerable amount of money in development and since I'm using my own funds to do this work, I don't want to produce more than is needed. Several have indicated they would buy if produced.
Serious buyers, please send an email to wemull@hotmail.com stating what you would like and the quantity of each. I will use this to determine what the production mix should be. There will be very limited extra inventory.
Before I place a production order,I WILL POST HERE AND ON THE FORUM "Parts for Sale"showing pictures of the final product.. At that time I would like a firm commitment and a good faith deposit of $10.00 USD per set (refundable of course if there are any problems)
The attached .PDF files shows the revised housing profiles. They are 3d PDF files. Select options on your PDF viewer and select "trust" to view.
