No doubt the SRT-8s accelerate through the 1/4 mile faster and quicker than a 6. They also brake several feet shorter and I suspect top out around 5 - 10 mph faster (assuming the rev limiter was disabled in the 6). It's kind of embarrassing when Chrysler's "halo" and "premier" sports car is out performed by a group of family cars. But then that's the beauty of the 8s - you don't suspect that they are capable of that kind of performance. Well, at least I get better gas mileage.

Wow you publically admit it...Well that's the first step to recovery.

Pssst Gas Mileage who cares about it...If I was concerned about MPG, and cutesy "premier sports car" style maybe I would have bought a SRT6, but I wanted a mean, get out of my way, gas guzzling (NO GAS Guzzler TAX ON THE MAGNUM SRT8)... Oh snap did you see what that wagon just did, ONE BAD AZZ CAR. Throw the SRT6 in the back and still run faster times (j/k), So I got the SRT8...OOOHHH...hehehe Gotcha...

Yeah that was Mol, he lives off of Mission Gorge road, he also is THE Warranty Service Mechanic at one of my favorite dealerships, ahhh gotta love having friends who work for your cars service dept.
