I am experiencing a series of beeps when I put the top up. It's something I've not noticed before. I press the button and the top begins to rise, but then I get a series of beeps while it's going up. I do get the beep that the cover is locked and I can pull the handle down, and then the beeping stops.

I understand the partition needs to be in place and hooked correctly to put the top down, but is that also the case in putting the top up?

FP, you mentioned that you had your hand on the button. I guess I hadn't thought about this...but, do I not need to keep the button depressed while raising or lowering the top? While I'm typing this, I can't remember if I have simply pressed and let go of the button and the top goes into it's thing. I guess I probably keep my it depressed during the process like one would do with the electric windows. I would think if I let go of the button the motors would stop.

My partition piece did break on the driver's side, and my husband has temporarily glued the plastic piece together until he finds the time to install the new part. I have to manually check the latch and be sure it's in place everytime I put the top down.

Anyway...any suggestions would be appreciated.
