Irwin, I can only speak for myself, but I think you're confusing a lot of good natured razzing, and genuine concern for your well being (pertaining to your "mods") as a personal attack. It wasn't. I'm not going to address your obvious "issues" that you have with Johnny Angel, you two seem to have a "history" and that's between you and him. Whether or not someone likes or dislikes what ever mod's you choose to make to your car shouldn't matter. You can't please everybody, nor should you try. Simply please yourself, and enjoy the "props" you receive, and forget about the negative.
I think most everyone coming to the Dragon is coming more to meet their fellow forum members than to criticize their cars. After all, everybodys car is essentially the same, but every member is truly different, and that's what makes this forum so much fun.
I'm not a fan of "Dubs" but the photo's of the wheels that you have on your car did look pretty good on the cars in the ads, and I'd be willing to bet most everyone would enjoy seeing your car, and meeting you.
Don't take everything on the forum so seriously, some people can be tactful, others not so much, just take it in stride.
Enjoy the forum for what it is, a great source of information, and an opportunity to share thoughts on a subject we all find very interesting. Just don't get upset when someone doesn't share your enthusiasm for a certain mod or idea, because if we all liked the same thing, it would get very boring.
Oh, and most importantly, the forum is a great place to meet some really nice people.
I'll see ya at the Dragon.
