Understood. I read the coverage and it boils down to it being repairable vs replacement.
If it can be repaired, they will pay upto $25 for a patch. The service center/tech has to decide if the tire is repairable.

I've picked up 3 nails and a screw in the last year with my OEM tires.

So I'm thinking the road hazard is a good idea.
