I used exactly the bulbs noted above and needed no resistors because everything worked fine and did not trigger the "bulb out" indicator. I believe the bulbs for the trunk light areas may be different for roadsters than for coupes. The 9 lens LED in the coupe trunk compartment does not produce too much light, but it is adequate at night (unless you're planning to read a book or something like that). I have had these bulbs in the car for over two years with no problems at all.
