on my old car I went to lowes, purchased 4 bolts that were about 1/2" longer than the stock hood bolts and some washers for around $4.00. Installed them on the rear bolts on the hood and raised the back about 1/2", you can also remove your back weather seal for more cowl effect. Once this was done you could see the heat rolling out from the back of the hood, it helped cool things down and was worth the $4.00 in parts.
