Default Re: Brake Problem

The "BRAKE" light does serve the parking brake but it also lets you know if there's any problem with your brake fluid and it can also come on if there is a malfunction with your ABS system. It could be something to do with my parking brake but i don't feel anything holding me back at all and I've done everything I could with it to get it to go off. It's not the fluid for sure and I can still feel my ABS working cuz' I had to slam on the brakes yesterday to avoid rear endng someone (totally their fault) and they worked fine. It's a very confusing situation haha I'm not sure what's wrong.

Valkryderguy, I thought about their being air in the lines and needing to bleed them but every dealership I've called says there is no possible way that that could happen. I think they're crazy but that's just me cuz' I think that is exactly what happened. Thanks a lot for the advice though that worked on making the BAS/ESP light go off and I'm taking it to a Chrysler dealership today that I found that has a guy who was trained specifically in Crossfires so hopefully he'll diagnose the other problem(s).
