Default Re: Why I bought a roadster

From the time a was a kid I always wanted to ride in a ragtop, but never had the chance. My first opportunity came along when a friend of mine was dating this girl who had just gotten a Labaron. She brought it to a party we where at and my buddy and I swiped the keys and took it out for a "quick" drive. An "hour and a half" later we returned to his very ticked-off girlfriend, but we had a great ride.

Anyway, ever since then a ragtop was at the top of my list. When the Crossfire was first released the ragtop was not available. I was so taken by the cars styling that it just couldn't wait and leased the Coupe for 3 years. I was going to keep the Coupe, but when I went in to the dealership to sign the papers for the Coupe, my dealership friend tells me he has a Roadster out back. Sooo, I walk around back and it's the Aero Blue ragtop I wanted from the very beginning. I think it took me 10 seconds to sign the papers on the Roadster and hand them back the keys to the Coupe.

Even time I drive this car through the hills of north Jersey it's a very satisfying experience. I guess some things are just meant to be.
