Default Re: Our new Intake Manifold Gaskets

i dont have the factory torque specs for the mani bolts as they are not in the service manual that i coudl find (if anyone can find them please let me know and free set of gaskets for you). so i cant say for sure that they leak from the factory as there is no way to test that but when we bolted both used or brand new factory gaskets onto our cnc'd double blanchard ground test plate with a stock manifold they started leaking at 14psi, 15psi and it bubbled, 20psi with tons of bubbles and 25psi it hissed out. that is without any phenolic spacers.

anyone that has pulled their stock mani's off should swap these in IMO

anyone with phenolic spacers should surely swap these in IMO

anyone with just a pulley on their car may want to consider it, you guys paid how much for a 3psi increase????? if we gain you guys 1/2psi for $13 how cool is that? i dont have before/after numbers for you for boost curves as i dont want to put stock gaskets on our car and slow us down, sorry.
