My older brother used to race and beat lots of powerful cars. He had a 69 AMX 4 speed. He was not faster. But he didn't stay in one place spinning the tires like the "faster" cars did. The only cars he didn't beat were the ones with 10" tires on the back. Now if you want to talk corner speed you're talking more about handling or lateral grip. Anyway. For me the Caliber is a younger than me persons car. It looks like a comic book, kinda transformer like. Not a bad thing really, just not for me. Not saying it's slow either. Not saying it can or cannot be made faster cheaper. I grew up with rear wheel drive (I'm not in my 20's or 30's). To me a front wheel drive performance car is for the young that don't know what their missing. But enough already. If I get beat by a Caliber with NOS then I'll go get me some giggle gas too and we'll go again. Isn't that how the game is played?
