I used to wear them out way too often on my turbo Z. I finally bought a new clutch and took it to these guys in Irwindale (CA) and they put ceramic pads on both sides of the disc. Well, that was way too jerky. I went back to these guys after a while and they put ceramic on one side only. That was perfect and my clutch never slipped again. Just a little food for thought if you're replacing your clutch.
