I don't know if that's really true (that it's a "more common" thread). If you check out the forum back to it's beginnings, you'll see that there has always been a mix of short and long term owners. The short term owners will always come and go, and the forum participation of established owners tends to decline as they figure out their cars.

I too am sorry to see established owners leave these forums. It's true that those who leave us are varied, though for all sorts of obvious life and economic phase reasons, younger owners are much more likely to turn over a 2 seat sports car. Luckily for all of us, there remains a stable cadre of long term owners who are not in the throes and vagaries of their younger adult lives. I hope and expect they will continue to be here for all of us. Those of us have no need or reason to part with their Crossfire's. I'm definitely happy to be one.
