I'm 6' 1" and didn't think the Roadster would work but when it finally arrived at my dealer I found there was enough adjustment in the seat to work if it is all the way back against the back wall. After proving it would work I just placed the order. I was definitely getting a convertible. Like you I grew up on British roadsters and had to have another convertible after the kids had grown and and on their own. Price wise it just gives you more than the competition. Looked at the S2000 and the TT Roadster (Porsche and MB 350 are out of my league). With the incentives and the interest rates nothing comes close. I personally prefer the look of the Roadster over the coupe too. Ordered mine in Black with Dark slate and Cedar interior. Should be here in time for the spring. Good luck on your decision.
