Well, I hope you all have a great and safe trip! I won't be able to make it (for the first time since fall of '07) but hope to be there in the spring.

If any were wondering, I have "Degenerative Disc Disease" and it's taking a shot at my upper back/neck this time. The pain is considerable and I have surgery scheduled for November 9th.

I hate missing this, but I'd be more of a PITA than usual.
