HWY 72 is a very good way to go in. It is easy to miss the turn going east off 441 so look close.

Otherwise a very nice ride with little traffic interrupting the trip.

You can also go down I-75 to where it meets 72. You will miss the tour thru town. (I remember following Gary thru Knoxville once. I don't follow him anywhere since)
