Default Re: Put the new parts on

Well, well, well!!! I did the cooling system separation today and just got back from a short test drive. The engine runs a few degrees warmer than usual, 3 or 4º, but the IAT's are substantially lower. Being a law abiding citizen I didn't go over 70 mph but I boosted more than the other day when I was seeing 125º under normal driving conditions. Today they peaked at or just above 105º but came right down and stayed at 100º or a touch lower. It was a short drive and tomorrow I'll take a trip to get a better idea how temps are going to be under different scenarios. From what I can see so far, anyone will see a huge benefit by separating the systems no matter what heat exchanger is in the car. Sunday is race day! I hope I don't spin out with all this new powaaahhhh!
