At my dealerships we have always used paintless dent repair. As long as it is on a flat part of the vehicle & there isn't a crease you should be good to go. I have used Dent Wizard and a few others. Every time I have seen them do it there is a suction cup of some kind involved. Hopefully there isn't any paint damage & its just a depression. If it a small dent you can get them repaired for as little as $25. For such a small amount of money I wouldn't even take the chance of damaging my paint.
