If you got her license number and actually witnessed the crime you should be able to take her to small claims court. It is usually for amounts under 10,000 dollars and the magistrate makes the ruling. Both of you testify under oath and the cost is about $75.00 which will be added to the repair bill if you win. You actually do not need a lawyer and the most you can lose is the $75. Maybe this will keep her from doing it again when she sees you are not letting it go. Good Luck!
