Default Re: Want to buy a crossfire - what color is best???

Well, I've been detailing cars on the side for 5 years now and I can you this, don't get black unless your prepared to take care of it. It (black) looks great at the dealership, especially in the showroom under all the lights, but once you get it home and it shows dust after a 1/2 hr of sitting, it kinda sucks. If you do wanna a black one, here's a couple suggestions:

-California car duster
-California water blade
-use touch-free car washes
-use microfiber towels to dry it off
-Griots paint sealant or Mequiars NXT syn wax
-Griots spray wax (for in-between applications)

Personally I haven't seen a color on the Crossfire that I haven't liked, although the yellow for the convertibles isn't my cup of tea. To sum it up, pick white or the silverish color if your not one take as much care of your ride.
