An the story goes on.....
I had to go back to the dealer today (Sunday) to give them the rest of the cash I owed. They were also having their annual BBQ, for their customers and employes.
I casually asked the GM if he might know why the tires were so noisy on the road. He said he didn't know, but if I wanted to take him for a ride, he would listen to them. They were conti's, with plenty of tread on them.
When we got back, he told me to have some food and drink and he would take care me. He asked for my key fob and left me in the food line.
About an hour later, he said it won't be long now. Another 45 min go by and he walks up to me, hands me the key and an envelope from Discount Tire. He said "every thing you need is in the envelope", shook my hand and started talking to an old repeat customer.
They and taken my car to the Discount Tire Store down the street. There were 4 new Falken FK452 tires on the car. The proper sizes, balanced and everything. The paper work in the envelop had the 50K warranty, Road Hazzard policy etc. Where the prices should have been there were a bunch of little x's. I know that had to be at least $900 to $1000.
This means If I live long enough to buy another car, it will have to be one of their Cadillacs. Sorry for the rather long post, but I have never had such a great experience with a car dealership before.
