how about i tell you how i did it and u can do as well its not hard.

I mix the base coat with 50/ 50 clear. let dry and do the same with clear coat.
I did 2 light coats to get the color I thought was right, but it appears my clear didn't have enough tint to it. the rock guard costs about 30$ for 15" bye 40" and is enough to do the car 3 times.
if you buy rock guard or any 3m style clear vinyl it will still be flexible (available any vinyl distributor.)
