Cailfornia is a foreign Country to the midwest. Your gas prices are 20% higher most of the time. Except in San Diego where normal rules about most anything don't seem to apply.
But, it is a most beautiful place with wonderful folks. I always have a good time there.

BTW, Regular gas that day was $3.59 per Gal. Diesel was $3.99
I believe today it is $3.69 to $3.79 per Gal in So Il.
Diesel and Premium each run about the same here. I paid $ 3.69 at the QT last Sunday night.
Fuels will go up and down as market forces effect them. Japan's shut down has flooded the world with crude.Temporarily.
Just sayin.
Wow, you've actually a price drop on gasoline in the past few weeks????? Even a price drop of a lousy penny per gallon would be a shocking turn of events here. I've seen the price jump as much as 5 cents between my morning and evening commutes - at the same station!!! It's gone up in total as much as 40 cents a gallon in the past three weeks.
