As others have stated, it's not actually removing anything (especially NOT rock chips) but it is very effectively hiding things. That's not necessarily a bad thing since not everyone is willing to put in the time needed to actually eliminate defects from the paint. We all have our goals and we all like what we like. While I'm not a fan of this particular product, I will say this: Jon, if you like it and that prompts you to use it regularly, and you're happy with the result, that's all that really matters.
