The '04 shop manual shows a drain plug and mentions it. It is the same in the '05 manual
The manual also confuses by saying remove two plugs, but they are not plugs. They are for holding a sensor harness against the heat shield.
They only have one plug not two. Punching holes is not needed or desirable. How do you punch a hole in sheet metal and not dent it? Try it on a beer can.
The question I believe was draining the torque converter not the pan.
PS
I was confused both questions were raised but the TC question was the hardest to get an answer for. I say the manual does not mention one but others swear it does and the answer is coming .....we hope.
